The early South America...Damn, that's a great find! The early South American thrash (Sarcófago, Pentagram, etc.) had a fierce rawness to it that many of the contemporary North American and European bands lacked. I think a great deal of the so called “Second Wave” of black metal (Mayhem, Burzum, Darkthrone, etc.) owes a lot more to that scene than many of today's kids realise…Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
